DABSJ Initiates Public Search for New President & CEO

D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s announces the commencement of a public search for its new President & CEO. Founded in 1887, DABSJ is dedicated to providing safety, advocacy, and support for children and families in West Michigan.

The Board of Directors is pleased to partner with Palladian West, a renowned firm specializing in executive searches, to conduct a comprehensive search process. The search will prioritize candidates with proven leadership experience, a passion for social impact, and a deep commitment to the mission and values of DABSJ.

“Our organization is at a pivotal moment, and we are seeking a visionary leader who can build upon our strong foundation and drive us toward even greater success,” said India Manns, Chair of the DABSJ Board of Directors. “We are confident that with the expertise of Palladian West, we will identify an exceptional individual who will lead DABSJ into its next chapter of growth and service to our community.”

The new President & CEO will succeed Mary Muliett, who has led DABSJ with dedication and excellence for the past three years. Under Mary’s leadership, DABSJ achieved significant milestones, including the completion of a new 43,000-square-foot building, expansion of several new programs, and earning certification from the Sanctuary Institute, highlighting DABSJ’s commitment to trauma-responsive care for children and families.
