Featuring Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) methods developed by Dr. Karyn Pervis and Dr. David Cross from the Karyn Pervis Institute of Child Development at TCU to help bring attachment and connection to families.
The content is ideal for adoptive and foster parents, those considering adoption or foster care, and those who are serving and supporting others, including social workers, school and agency professionals, church staff and ministry leaders, counselors and therapists.
Friday & Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (including breaks and 1 hour lunch)
All participants will receive conference materials, lunch, drinks and light snacks both days for $20.00 per person.
Thanks to a grant through the United Way Heart of West Michigan; Adoptive/Foster/Kinship families will be refunded their registration fee after attending the event.

AFSN will send all foster and adoptive parents a certificate of completion including training hours they attended. Each professional interested in receiving hours and a professional certificate is required to register and pay a separate fee at www.etc2019continuingeducation.eventbrite.com.
