Attention Adoptive Families!
Looking for something different and fun to do with the kids?
AFSN is hosting a Family Wellness Workshop for Parents and children. Bring your child/children and have some fun while learning some important healthy living tips.
We will be doing 3 separate hands on workshops on Saturday January 25th. You can attend 1,2,or all 3 workshops.For those families attending 2 workshops, lunch will be provided as well.
9:00 -10:30 a.m. Healthy Eating Habits - We will discuss the importance of healthy eating habits for kids and then we will be doing a hands on snack making activity. This workshop will be led by Molly McEntire (Certified Health Coach, B.A. Clinical Exercise Science) and former AFSN childcare worker.
10:45-12:15 p.m. Sensory Calm Down Strategies - Join us to learn about how Tucker Turtle handles his big emotions followed by making your very own sensory bottle that you can take home with you. This workshop will be led by Tracy Fritz (Teacher, fellow adoptive/foster Mom).
12:15-1:15 p. m. - Lunch
1:15-2:45 p.m. Parent/Child Yoga Join us to learn some traditional and fun yoga poses to help with flexibility, strength and calming focus. This workshop will be led by Alissa Newberg from Expressions of Grace Studio.
*Due to class structure we recommend bringing only 1-2 children per parent attending.

Attention Kent County Adoptive Families!
AFSN is hosting a date night drop off event for adoptive families who live in Kent County.
Drop your kids off to play games, make crafts and watch a movie with us. Enjoy a few kid free hours on AFSN!
There is no cost for families who reside in Kent County and the event is open to children kindergarten through 6th grade.
*Must be fully potty trained.
