Low Demand Parenting: 8 – Week Virtual Book Study

Join us for an 8-week Virtual book study featuring Low Demand Parenting by Amanda Diekman.

Low Demand Parenting is a low arousal approach to parenting. If your child is often verbally and/or physically aggressive, low demand parenting may be effective for your family.

Join AFSN staff as we explore how to adjust demands and expectations to heal and calm our children’s nervous systems.

Group will meet on Wednesday each week from 8 – 9:00 pm for 8 weeks, beginning February 4, 2026.

Registration Required via Eventbrite – https://Lowdemandbookstudy26.eventbrite.com

*This event is open to any adoptive, foster or kinship families residing in Michigan.

DABSJ is inclusive and welcoming – from our team members, to the children we serve, to the families we license as foster parents. You could play a part in providing homes and hope for children who need a place to be themselves.
