D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s important work is funded through gifts, grants, and events like the Guild Ball. This year’s theme, “Garden of Growth,” celebrates the care and commitment our community pours into nurturing every child and family, helping them take root, flourish, and grow toward bright, successful futures. The event will be held at JW’s International Ballroom on Saturday, November 14, and will feature live music by the band Brena. We hope you will join us on Saturday, November 14 for the Guild Ball!

Chicken Entrée: Roasted chicken brushed with truffle butter, served with roasted mushrooms, a truffle herb sauce, creamy risotto, and carrots glazed with local honey. (GF)
Beef Entrée: Tender, slow-braised boneless beef short rib with creamy whipped mashed potatoes, asparagus, and a savory pan gravy. (GF)
Vegan Entrée: Crispy Quinoa Cakes

Hotel Accommodations
We’re pleased to offer a special room block for guests attending the D.A. Blodgett St. John’s Guild Ball. Our host hotel, JW Marriott, is offering a discounted group rate, along with convenient amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Booking through this link ensures you receive the group rate and access to all special accommodations for our event. We encourage you to reserve early, as availability is limited.

PARKING INFORMATION

Self-parking is available in the JW Marriott’s adjacent parking structure, accessible from Campau Avenue. Upon entry, press the button on the kiosk labeled with the event name (e.g., “DABSJ Guild Ball”) instead of “Press for Ticket.” Park as usual and bring your ticket with you into the hotel.

Inside the hotel, look for poster boards or ballroom screens displaying a QR code. To pay for parking:

Scan the QR code
Scan your parking ticket
The event rate will appear; pay using Apple Pay or a Visa/Mastercard credit card
Save or email your receipt

You may pay at any time before exiting. At the gate, scan your ticket in the box labeled “1” and the system will recognize your payment. If you use American Express, you can pay at the exit and still receive the event rate. Please disregard any message about limited time to exit after payment.

Valet parking is also available at the hotel’s main entrance. No pre-payment is needed. After the event, visit the valet cashier (lobby level, across from Starbucks), mention the event, and pay the event rate.

Please note: Parking availability at the JW Marriott is not guaranteed due to limited space. If the structure is full, you may park in the Amway Grand Plaza ramp, where the same event rates will be honored. Other nearby parking facilities or metered street spots are also options. If you park elsewhere, there is no need to visit the JW Marriott’s QR code station.

Overnight hotel guests do not need to use the QR code payment system, as it applies only to day-use parking.
