GRAND RAPIDS, MI – D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s (DABSJ) has received a $20,000 grant from the Consumers Energy Foundation supporting their Together for Kids campaign.
The grant will support the building of a multi-use facility, which will consolidate the three campuses of DABSJ onto one campus. Moving onto one campus is expected to increase the organization’s impact by doubling the number of clients and families served over the next 20 years. The move will also help save the organization about $2 million in operating costs over 20 years.
“We’re thrilled to have the support of such an established organization,” said Jim Paparella, President/CEO of DABSJ. “The grant received from the Consumers Energy Foundation will have a great impact on the children and families we serve.”
