D.A. Blodgett - St. John's is delighted to announce the resounding success of the 27th Annual David Samrick Golf for Kids event. Mill Steel Company and its community of friends and business partners topped last year’s record-breaking event with an even higher mark, contributing $360,000 to make a direct impact on children and families. The event took place on July 24, 2023 at Egypt Valley Country Club, bringing together enthusiastic golfers and generous sponsors to support the vital services for children and families at DABSJ.
Many remarked on how proud Mill Steel founder and former chairman David Samrick would be to see the ongoing impact of the event now named in his memory. The event has become DABSJ’s largest fundraiser, changing thousands of lives for the better and continuing David’s remarkable legacy.
This year's record-breaking fundraiser surpassed all expectations, demonstrating the unwavering commitment of participants, sponsors, and supporters to the mission of DABSJ. The funds raised from the event will play a crucial role in bolstering DABSJ’s efforts to impact over 14,000 annually and provide essential services including foster care, adoption services, residential treatment, family preservation and behavioral health services.
