D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s (DABSJ) is, once again, hosting a virtual holiday gift drive for over 500 youth who receive support through the agency’s foster care, residential treatment, and behavioral health programs. The drive launches on October 1. The drive is also ending earlier this year, on November 22, to accommodate for expected shipping delays.
DABSJ believes that everyone deserves a childhood and the holidays are such a memorable part of growing up. The agency is asking our community to help provide some of that magic by purchasing holiday gifts for the youth they support.
“Many of the kids we help have experienced some type of trauma, and the pandemic has not made things any easier. These kids need our help now more than ever,” said DABSJ President/CEO, Mary Muliett. “They deserve a positive and magical holiday season, just like any other kid. We need help making that happen.”
