The goal of Kent School Services Network (KSSN) is to assure that all students are physically and emotionally healthy and able to learn in and out of their classrooms. KSSN is able to do this by bringing a variety of services into the school buildings creating a one-stop shop of services that are easy to access. Services and partners may include DHHS workers, Community School Coordinators, Site Team Clinicians and nurses depending on the school building.

Each STC is licensed to provide therapy to children and families. They work with school staff and families to identify children and families that would benefit from mental health services. STCs work with children and families on a variety of issues including trauma, grief, defiance, anxiety, depression and many other needs that would require help from a therapist. STCs work collaboratively with families, school staff and other important members of the family’s community to provide the help children need so they can simply be the children they were meant to be in and out of the classroom setting. STCs provide therapy in individual, family or group settings.
