Lillian is energetic and has a good sense of humor. She takes pride in her humor and loves telling jokes when spending time with friends. Lillian likes listening to music, and Twenty One Pilots is her favorite group. “She is active with her youth group at church and has even led the group,” says Lillian's worker. She likes dancing when listening to music and hopes to turn her musical interest into a career. “When she grows up, she wants to be a music producer and hopefully meet and work with Twenty One Pilots,” says Lillian's worker. In addition to jokes and music, Lillian likes playing video games. Although she does not consider herself a girly girl, she does like to play with the hair of her My Little Ponies. This friendly and funny girl lists waffles and ice cream as her favorite food. Her favorite color is black and her favorite animal is the wolf. “Halloween is her favorite holiday because she likes to be with her friends and eat lots of candy,” says Lillian's worker. Her worker calls Lillian a charming girl with a Goth-like style, who likes to help others.
“Lillian responds well to redirection unless she is very upset,” her worker says. “At that time it is usually best to allow her to calm down then talk things out with her.” She does best with structure and routine. “Lillian is very smart,” says her worker, and she generally does well in school. Her favorite things about school are lunch and art class.
Lillian would do best with a parent or parents who are experienced and knowledgeable of the impact of trauma on a child. Her new parent or parents must be able to provide the one-on-one attention that she needs. She also would do best as the youngest child in her new forever family. Her new parent or parents must advocate for the services that will help Lillian. Finally, her new family will need to be open to letting Lillian maintain appropriate relationships.
